The objective of this project is to transform the economic, social, and environmental roles of the municipality of Los Angeles and the province of Biobío through collaboration, sustainability, innovation, and community integration.
The project
Diagnosis
The Biobío region, despite having a large industrial base, needs to adapt quickly to new technologies, enhancing its productive matrix through innovation and technological entrepreneurship.
Specifically, the province of Biobío and the municipality of Los Ángeles, alongside strengthening their production matrix across the board, must leverage the forestry sector's great potential by promoting its transformation towards new technologies that allow for the revaluation of its economic, social, and environmental role.
Commitment
In 2019, the University of Concepción and CMPC established three strategic lines for the transformation of the Biobío region:

- • The promotion of entrepreneurship and innovation
